Mubarak Hussein is from Somalia and has been in Portugal for almost nine years. Mubarak came to Portugal directly from a refugee center in Ukraine where he worked as an ACNUR translator and mediator after graduating in international law. Mubarak Hussein is now the Director General of UREP – Refugees Union in Portugal – and the Assistant Coordinator for Fórum Refúgio – an UREP-ARP project.
