Ahmed Abdalla

Ahmed Abdalla arrived in Portugal in 2007 to escape from a civil war in Somalia. Ahmed house was destroyed by a bomb and Ahmed decided to run away with his wife and his three kids. After a long and difficult journey, they were saved by Maltian marine and then ACNUR sent them to Portugal. Right now, Ahmed is the President of UREP – Refugees Union in Portugal – and the Secretary General of Fórum Refúgio – an UREP-ARP Project.
