Besides his journalism work he used to organize many social events and used to work in many awareness campaigns based in Lisbon. To be well integrated from the beginning he focused to learn Portuguese language and history. He made  a short course regarding this in the ISCTE. Currently Nayem Hasan is Working with Portuguese immigration high commission as Bangla translator and he is also working in various government institutions as Bangla translator. Nayem Hasan used to work and participate in many Portuguese local festivals, where he exchanged his culture and language with locals. Which he believes is really important in the issue of integration. Everyone has a curiosity over unknown so Nayem believed that by these participations he can represent his country and also his language and culture.

When he was young, he faced many social inequalities in his society, since than he wanted to make a difference and wanted became a voice for many to reduce human inequalities. He believes that, it doesn’t matter from where you are, which part of the world, what is your family, what is your religion, what is your skin color, the important is we all are human in same human race.

Nayem Hasan graduated in Business studies from Manarat International University. Although he studied Business as the preference of his family, he wanted to study journalism, but he was unable to study in that area, but his passion for journalism was incredibly high which now leads him to become a journalist. Since his university life he used to write in National newspapers in Bangladesh, from there his journey started as a journalist. To be the voice for equality, justice, and humanity he finds that journalism is the most powerful entity in this current world.

Currently he is working with a Bangladeshi news channel called News24 as Portugal correspondent. Besides that, he also works with many local Portuguese TV and newspapers.

Nayem Hasan started his Portugal life with many difficulties, this is for every immigrant when they reach to a new country, they face the most hardships with language and many issues but with consistency many doors are opened for him. He is working with immigration while he is representing his country and also his community. He believes that one day he will bring changes in his society and also, he will be able to become a recognized journalist that can lead him to become a voice for people who do not have it.
