Mamadou Bah, as the President of ACITMMM – an association that  increases the understanding of Islamic culture and religion – recognizes the danger of radicalization and remembers that each one of us has the duty to counter violent extremism.

Fatima Ghannam and her family came to Portugal as the first Syrian family in the scope of Portuguese resettlement program. Fatima found a new family and a new home and right now she is the Chef of Mezze, the Syrian restaurant in Lisbon.

The Imam of the Central Mosque of Lisbon, Sheikh David Munir, emphasises that who becomes radical is who does not know their own belief: “Islam condemns all kinds of radicalism, all kinds of terrorism and all kinds of violence”.
